St. Jude Catholic Church is part of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis, and is located in Martin, Tennessee, near the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin.We are the only Catholic parish in Weakley County, serving families in Martin, Dresden, Greenfield, Gleason, Palmersville and Sharon. We also serve the University community, helping to preserve the Catholic identity of young adults, and helping to share our Catholic intellectual tradition with the larger community.

 

The mission of St. Jude Catholic Church is:

• To provide for the worship and religious education needs of the Catholic people of Weakley County and the Catholic students at the University of Tennessee at Martin;
• To foster a deep sense of worth, belonging, and love within the Catholic community;
• To promote an understanding of the Catholic faith among members of other faiths;
• To support and encourage growth in Christian service on a larger than parish basis
